1)First connect your modem to any PC.
2)Open internet explorer and 192.168.1.1 [this depends of modem company but but default is mostly this ip otherwise check your modem manual]
3)Now it will ask for id and pass use admin as id and admin as pass [default.]
4)It will open page for modem configuration.
5)Now click on advance setup--> Wan->>
6)Now click on edit where service= pppoe_0_35_1 [mostly at 1st possition]
7)Now click next
8)Now select PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) option and click next
9)Now it will ask for user id and pass provide the username and id provided by the ISP and click next
10)Now click next
11)Click save
12)Click save & reboot
13)Now your modem will reboot
14)Then after this just open internetexplorer and browse net no more dialup connection is required and you can also connect as many laptop you want 255 is max.
15)All this tested and working on BSNL modems with BraodBand Connection.
